Activities in the Reception class are well planned to provide plenty of opportunity for learning.
The curriculum is good. It promotes pupils' spiritual, moral, social and cultural development and their awareness of British values well.
Pupils behave well and rightly feel safe in the school. They are aware of how much the school has improved and reallise that this is helping them to make better progress now.
Relationships between teachers and their pupils are positive, and staff capture pupils' interest well.
